Images of France

We travel to France regularly to spend time with our relatives and scout new places for our students. My husband Frederick is a part-time photographer. He often captures images here and there along the way.

We thought you might enjoy some favorite French sights as you prepare for your trip, or simply daydream about France. Enjoy! Please click on an image below.

Paris: Paris is the City of Light. Here are some images that one would not necessarily expect in a traditional Paris photo gallery - with a few exceptions.

Normandy: There many beautiful places in Normandy, just a short drive away from Paris: The Mount Saint Michel - one of the wonders of the world- the Colleville American Cemetery - a tribute to the fallen G.I.'s of the Normandy invasion, and Deauville - the trendy gambling resort Parisians love.

Brittany: A beautiful and rugged region of France, is just a three hour drive from Paris. The city of Saint Malo, the cradle of French marine piracy, is full of legends. Dinard is a medieval town featuring some houses dating back to the 10th century that are amazingly preserved. And, of course the food and cider are fantastic.
