Bonjour! My name is Veronique. A French native, I moved to the Seattle area with my husband 10 years ago. As far as I can remember, I have been very interested in cultural differences. I completed a M.A. in English to teach English as a foreign language in my country. Part of my college education was completed in the United States where I specialized in American studies. I later worked for American Express in Paris, where I particularly enjoyed training teams in several European markets and interacting with my US co-workers. After moving to Seattle’s Eastside in 1996, I freelanced as a cross-cultural trainer and was hired by local companies who were doing business with France.
Learn French in Seattle was born in 1998. I started offering French tutoring services, and my main focus was to do so in a non-intimidating environment. My students and I meet in various Eastside locations: My teaching studio in Woodinville, WA; local coffee shops; the students’ office or residence… Locations vary but two things remain the same: We learn and we have fun! Interested? intrigued? What is it like to Learn French as an adult?

Many people were asking me about learning French, or preparing for a trip to France, but many seemed hesitant to sign up for
classes offered by local organizations.
