About Group Classes at the Studio
"I just wanted to write you and say Thank You for everything you taught me about France. It made such a difference on our trip. The little knowledge that I was able to retain from all your lectures was invaluable (...) and not just in Paris but throughout the country. So many of the things our guide told us I could say "I already knew that" (...) I was thinking about you throughout the trip and kicking myself for not studying more. I've taken some classes at Bellevue College trying to keep current but
it isn't the same. If you ever have an opening in the conversation group, please let me know. So thank you for everything, you've made me a francophile for life. :) A Bientot "

"I began taking classes with Veronique to improve my French for our visits to France. I had no idea how much I would enjoy the classes and look forward to them each week! With such small classes, I really feel like I am receiving personal attention, as well as being able to really connect with my classmates. We spend a lot of time laughing, and I feel really comfortable speaking in class, regardless of my accuracy. I feel like my French has already improved already and I look forward to my next session!"

“Hi Veronique, just a quick note to let you know how much I am enjoying our french conversation class. You have a wonderful sense of humor and I really appreciate your enthusiasm, how you keep the energy level high, with just the right amount of structure, a bit of grammar, a bit of vocabulary, and a whole lot of fun.”

"I’ve been studying French with Veronique for 4 years now. She teaches with great enthusiasm and energy. No yawns or nods in this class! She brings new and interesting French discussion and study topics every week. My classmates and I have learned so much. She encourages, always praising and gently correcting. She has a great sense of humor and we’ve laughed our way through many French and American idioms and customs. Not only has my French comprehension and pronunciation improved greatly, so has my understanding of French geography, history and cuisine. Merci pour tout Veronique!"

“Mais oui! Veronique Savoye is a magnificent French instructor. Her upbeat attitude and entertaining nature make learning French fun and enriching. I joined the intermediate conversational class to improve my overall skills and from the very first day, began learning more than I ever imagined! Veronique uses a variety of materials and media to facilitate the learning process and is always available to help answer questions or be of assistance in any way. I will continue my studies with Veronique until she kicks me out of her studio!“

“I have been taking French from Veronique at her Studio in Woodinville for about 5 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Veronique speaks beautiful French and is an excellent teacher. She makes learning French fun and stress free. The camaraderie among the students is great and there have been many different students over the years. There are a lot of laughs and making mistakes is no big deal. We all help each other and have fun (...) If you are a little apprehensive about plunging in, don't worry, you will find the experience very rewarding and stimulating and will meet a great group of francophiles like yourself!"

About French Private Lessons, Tutoring
My husband and I were planning a family vacation in France, so I enrolled in Veronique's class "When in Paris" through our local community college. The class was fun and informative, including great travel recommendations I didn't have, even after cross-referencing many guide books. I liked Veronique's presentation so much I decided to sign up for private tutoring, to brush up on my rusty French from high school and college. Now I am always excited for Tuesday mornings with Veronique. We have coffee and talk about everything from 10-year olds (hers) to twenty somethings(mine), politics, both French and American, movies, and it's mostly en francais. Veronique does wonderful follow-up, too, so if you have a particular question or area of interest, the next week she has materials for you. I now have the confidence to speak French when we're traveling, and I have a new French friend.”

“Bonjour Veronique,I just wanted to take a moment to write you a note and thank you for all the wonderful private instruction you have given me in the last year and a half. When I returned from my first trip to France, I just knew I wanted to learn French with the ultimate goal of being fluent someday. I knew I did not have the time for classes and thought finding a private instructor would be difficult. To my surprise, I found you!! You have taken me from my limited vocabulary (present tense only!) to a level of confident, conversational French! I can't begin to describe what a joy learning French with you has been. I now use my French writing and speaking skills in business and in my private life any chance I get! Merci Veronique, tu es mon professeur extraordinaire et une tres bonne amie aussi!"

“My wife and I have enjoyed having Veronique as our teacher for the last three years. She prepares us before we depart for France, where we go every summer for a month or so. We use textbooks, as well as handouts that she makes especially for us in relation to our upcoming trip. During each lesson, we sit down and try to discuss in French our previous week, upcoming trips or other current events. We later focus on some grammatical points that may challenge us. We highly recommend Veronique as a French teacher! Besides being good at teaching, she also has a nice personality and great knowledge about France, travel, places to visit etc. We will continue to use her services for our upcoming French trip.”

About Travel Workstops and Travel Preparation
“We had a blast. Great trip. Perfect weather. Took lots of pictures and enough video to bore anyone to tears (…) We would love to get together with you and show you the experience. We figure the expression “Une carafe d’eau s’il vous plait” that you taught us, probably saved us the cost of the lessons we took from you! Call us!”

“You have a unique perspective on the differences and challenges American travelers may find in France, and you were very adept at preparing us for cultural, as well as linguistic ‘rough spots’. Since you focused on the necessities of communicating, rather than perfect conjugation, I was able to maximize the benefits from your class (...) I Just wanted to let you know, now that my French adventure is over, how much fun I had in your class -- and how useful it proved to be in Paris, Beaune, and Arles! There were a few hoteliers and restaurant owners who simply spoke no English -- my lessons came in very handy. I was always able to convey my needs, for the most part (…)”
– Brian D., Bothell, WA
“Bob and I had such a wonderful trip! Thanks for all your helpful hints. We used our feeble French to order delicious meals from "le menu," knew NOT to step on the beautiful grass in public gardens, and enjoyed the sun-worshipping crowds on the banks of the Seine. (…) I can't wait to go back!
We speak often of our class with you - how much it enhanced our trip and how delightful the time we spent with you. Hopefully we'll meet again in the future...I'm still interested in continuing my French lessons!”
– Roberta G., Seattle WA
“Returned from beautiful Paris on Tuesday evening. We had the best time. I have to say that this was in large part because of your great lessons! I did most of the talking since my friends did not study quite as much. Everything you taught came in very handy from arriving in France, working with the concierge at the hotel, shopping and of course ordering food! We also asked lots of directions - and understood the answers (…) We got so good at saying Bonjour Madame/Monsieur and Au Revoir, merci! , that people did not automatically switch to English which, to us, was wonderful (…)."
